'The Influence'was the second highest selling cd at the 'Ultimate Drummers Weekend', (next to Dave Weckl). Magesh's unique style of combining tabla and electronic percussion with the drum kit is captured on this CD. As well as playing keyboards and using a wide variety of samples, Magesh covers a wide range of styles from Funk, R&B, Pop and Drum n' Bass to World Music. Local acoustic/pop outfit Azure's EP "It's You" was underpinned by the relentless groove that Magesh is famous for. The tile track featured both live and electronic sounds from his extensive repertoire. |

Third Degree Burns was an original group and the brainchild of Magesh. A power trio mixing funk,rock,R&B and ska. Third Degree had 'Living Colour-esqu' guitar riffs mixed with old school soul vocal harmonies. Magesh co-wrote several songs on the album as well as playing fender rhodes and sang on 'Situation Funk 'dfied'. |
