Just finshed some clinics at 'Allens Music' in Kew. Thanks to everyone who turned up! Some demo versions of my book are being printed as we speak so it won't be long now.....
Also finally I just started doing a gig in the city at a bar called 'Barraki' (check the 'news' section for details), with 2 of my favorite musicians in the country. Claire Whitcomb who to me is the definition of a 'Soul' songer as well as a master Fender rhodes player and Craig Newman. Craig has played bass for EVERYBODY! (Check his site www.craignewman.com) He's one of my favorite bass players....EVER. I refer to him as the 'Funkmaster'. I'm having a blast on this gig cuz we really get to PLAY! I want to thank everyone who turned up 2 the shows I did in Geelong for 'Drumania'. Had a lot blast. Also had a great time at 'Hal Leonard' shows. Wanted to mention that the new David Garabaldi book 'Code Of Funk' is out. I've been going through it. Hella funky! Seeing the 'Liner stuff' written out is amazing. There is also a book out by Mike Snyder on 'Electronics'. This book is like the bible for everyone wanting to get into things like sampling and triggering. Both are out through 'Hal Leonard' make sure u check them out....later...Magesh

Just returned from the States. Went to the NAMM show in California and NYC. Had an awesome time. Wanted to say thanks to everyone who bought my DVD 'UNIQUE BEATS', finally got around to putting some stuff on 'Youtube'. I know...I'm really late! Shouldn't be too much longer before the book is out, I know I've been saying that for ever but this time I mean it.... Also make sure u check out an artist named 'Josh Dion', ridiculously talented guy I saw in New York. Also check out the spoken word of 'Dr Maddvibe' who is the alterego of Angelo Moore from Fishbone.... Really wicked stuff! ...

Hey All... Just finished some recording sessions with Gary Pinto. Gary is UNBELIEVABLE. One of the most talented and nicest guys I know. He sang his ass off! Book is almost finished. I know I've been saying this for a while but this time I REALLY mean it. Been editing like 24-7. If you get a chance check out this guy named David Haynes on youtube. Hey All,
Just wrapped up a commercial for 'Sony Playstation'. That was mad fun. I was playing drums for an American artist named Kenna. Make sure u check out his stuff. He was really cool. It's going 2 air in the States and Canada in the next few months. Book is taking a little longer than I thought but has definatley EXCEEDED my expectations. Also been in the studio recording some new music. Recently went and saw Jeff Conti play with some freinds of mine and was totally blown away! He was ridiculously funky. Make sure u go see him playing around Melbourne. I also saw Danyy Farrugia and his drumming knocked me out too. Later...Magesh

Hey everyone...
I just received word from Hal Leonard that my DVD 'Unique Beats' is selling really well in the United States. So, to everyone who bought a copy...thanks...u guys rock!!!
Right now I'm working on my book on drumming. This will take a minute but it'll definatley be worth the wait. It's a totally ORIGINAL concept.
Also I wanted to mention a band that I've been listening to called 'Lowrider'. They're from Adelaide and are mad soulful. Their drummer's name is Paul Bartlett and he's hella funky and tight! These guys are SERIOUS!

Hey all,
Just got back from the clinic tour with John Blackwell. It was really intense. Every show sold out (except Adelaide). John is the nicest and and funkiest cat you could ever hope to meet. On the last show in Sydney we got to play double drums and it was bananas! Make sure you check out John's drumming on Prince's "Rainbow Children" & "Musicology" cds or his "One night Alone" DVD.

I'm also real excited that my DVD "Unique Beats" just got released in the States. Take care folks..............Magesh

Hey All, I'm about 95 percent finished with my DVD. I'd like to add that all the musicians played ridiculously well! The editing process has taken a minute but It'll definitely be worth the wait (I hope!)....

Hey all,
Real excited 2 announce that I just signed with 'Tama' drums. Everybody's been real supportive and those drums sound RIDICULOUS!!! The first kit I actually bought was a 'Tama' rockstar, so it feels like I'm back home....What's cool as well is it's going 2 give me the chance to get out there and do more clinics.
Also I've been rehearsing with with singer/songwriter/producer (and musical genius!) 'Rudy' (Toni Braxton, Static). He sounds unbelievable and the band is really hot too. We are just about to start playin' some shows at 'Saratoga' (old Sain Bar) in South Yarra on a Wednesday nights, so make sure u check it out!!
